90 POINTS - "The 2005 Edge is a blend of 85 percent cabernet sauvignon with 15 percent merlot, all sourced from Napa Valley. Characteristics of cedar, green pepper, smoke and tobacco, balanced by a soft plumminess. Overall, the wines show good extraction, good berry structure, along with no bitterness and the tannins are surprisingly supple. Solid Cabernet at a reasonable price." - T.F., Wine Access, February / March 2009

Great Values from the Napa Valley - "Edge makes only one wine--this purple-black boysenberry-inflicted Cab-from vineyards along Napa Valley's Silverado Trail;. A small portion of Merlot helps smooth out some of the Cabernet's aggressive tannins." - Food & Wine, Page 189, October 2008

"Aromas and flavors of blackberry, raspberry and floral notes; medium bodied; medium finish with a palate cleansing acidity. Can serve now but will hold for some time." - Sante Magazine, Holiday 2007 Issue #11.9

90/100- "The Edge Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from grapes grown near St. Helena and in the Oak Knoll district of the Napa Valley. Hard on the heels of the award winning 2004 the latest ’05 is showing equally well. More restrained in style but with appealing peppery, black fruit aromas with flecks of vanilla. On the palate it is silky with dusty, peppery, red fruit flavors and just a touch of vanilla. Solid Napa Cabernet at a reasonable price."
- Gismondi on Wine, November 2007
