A supple and gentle red wine that soothes the palate with soft tannins and broad, ripe black cherry flavors. Light oak accents. Full-bodied, broad and generous, with chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon notes and a lingering finish. Drink now.

Ray Signorello has been crafting his value-driven Edge Cabernet since 2001. Originally made from Napa fruit, the wine later transitioned to Alexander Valley sources. Ray explains that the goal is to produce a serious wine from exceptional vineyards at a by-the-glass price point. This Cabernet, fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral oak, is sourced from a single site in Alexander Valley and can easily feature on wine lists for under $100. It offers vibrant red and blackberry notes, with a forest berry character and tannins gently kissed with cedar. Medium to full-bodied, it balances savoury elements of earth and deep forest with ripe, pure fruit, highlighting an impressive clarity of berry expression rarely seen at this price. A focused, food-friendly Cabernet with a backbone of lively acidity, finishing bone-dry with a whisper of dark chocolate. Undoubtedly one of the best-value Californian Cabernets I’ve tasted under $30 per bottle.
